We came here because it seems they are the only ones that make Chicago style pizza in Monterey. In case you haven't tried one, it's a thick deep dish slice of OMG! The crust is thick, but flakey. The meats are crispy and chunky. The sauce is fresh and covers the whole thing. The cheese, whoa the cheese is soft and melted down to the point you could probably drink cheese. We chose the arugulalala bc it came with arugula, fontina, chicken, bacon and mushrooms. It's pretty good, I even had it for breakfast the next day

Everything we had was delicious! Deep dish pizza was not heavy and oily like I've had with other deep dish. The sauce had amazing flavor and texture. We also ordered the bounty thin crust, such an incredible amount of veggies with perfect crispiness. The roasted broccoli was one of the best appetizers I've had! And the beet and goat cheese salad as well. Excellent food and service!

Cute little pizza place in Monterey with indoor & outdoor seating & a small bar. People rave about their deep dish, but their thin crust is delicious too. The crust is outstanding. Several tasty craft beers on tap. Super friendly & efficient staff, shout out to Elizabeth & Abby! If you're strolling around the bay & want pizza, I highly recommended Heirloom. People were waiting in line before the doors opened & throughout the evening.

Came here on a Wednesday night and was quickly seated. Overall, enjoyed the dishes! We were pretty full sharing 2 dishes between my husband and I. Ambiance was pretty casual. We liked how there was an outdoor area to bring our furry boy. We ordered the following Garlic bread 4/5: fresh ingredients and very garlicky! Heirloom pizza: 4/5 delicious deep dish pizza and the small size was definitely enough for my husband and I. We ended up taking some leftovers to go. Pro-tip: if you love arugula just like me, you can add it to to the heirloom pizza for and additional $2. The waiters were also friendly and sweet so it was a good final touch to dinner

First time visiting Heirloom and it was wonderful! The restaurant was cozy, and they have an outdoor dining area. Amanda was super helpful and got us seated quickly, and Abby was very energetic and gave us great recommendations when we ordered. It took a while since we came on a Friday (national pizza day, no doubt!), but the pizza was fantastic!! It had been a while since we had Chicago-style, but it was delicious! Will be visiting again to try the thin crust, for sure!

My husband was in the mood for deep dish pizza so we decided to stop by Heirloom! We came on a weekday night and there wasn't a wait to get seated. The ambiance here was a lot nicer than I expected and it gave off upscale cozy vibes, which we loved! I'd say this is the perfect dinner date spot. Service here was friendly and attentive and they also have a parking lot, which is a major plus in my book. We got a small deep dish pizza to share and I'd say that this is the perfect size for 2 people. The deep dish pizza here is lighter than it is anywhere else that I've tried it and you can really tell that the ingredients are fresh. I thought it was really enjoyable, however, I wouldn't say it's anything mind blowing in terms of taste. Overall, I'd say this is a solid pizza spot in Monterey that I'd recommend!

Came to Monterey on a short notice. But I've heard great things about heirloom pizza. The service was great! The staff was very friendly. They noticed I was out of town. They definitely gave some great recommendations my friend and I went with half heirloom, half arugula, deep dish pizza And the pizza did not disappoint! The dining inside is small, but very quiet, great music, and has holiday lights. I definitely loved my experience with pizza and company. Definitely coming back in the future. If anybody is in this area, please come to heirloom!
